Daniel Craig needs no solace in money

Daniel Craig, the star of the new 007 Bond film Quantum of Solace, is clearly a very lucky man. Not only is he an internationally recognised star and one of the highest paid actors in Britain but he is also rumoured to have just signed a £30 million contract deal to make another four Bond films.

But Craig is refreshingly humble about his increasing fame and has revealed to UK newspaper the Mirror that he is content with his current lifestyle and wants for nothing. “I have all I need materialistically. I'm in good shape. I genuinely don't need anything,”

But good fortune has not always blessed the film set of Quantum of Solace - the filming was apparently been plagued by incidents. Craig himself has suffered from a number of injuries during the action and stunt sequences. He has admitted to needing eight stitches and minor cosmetic surgery after being accidentally kicked in the face during a fight. He also had to be taken to hospital after slicing the tip off his finger.
