Britney - back blonde
"And they say, she's so lucky, she's a star"
Britney Spears is making a movie comeback, returning to the silver screen in a film documenting the last twelve months of her life.
Reports suggest that Britney is planning to team up with British director Phil Griffin to re-enact the highs and lows of a period in the singers life which has seen everything from superstardom to drastic haircuts and court appearances.
Every detail of Britney's traumatic breakdown has already made prime tabloid fodder but accordingly we have not been privy to her side of the story. Britney is choosing to relive this difficult period and make public the details that were omitted the first time round. Hers has been an incredible journey and this does not sound like a film for the faint hearted.
This is of course not Britney’s first taste of movie stardom; she played the leading role in ¨Crossroads¨ and appeared in the sitcom ¨How I Met Your Mother¨ playing the role of a secretary. The latter was actually very well received.
Perhaps starring in this film will be a cathartic experience for the obviously troubled Britney, but we at LUCKY.com think she ought to step out of the limelight and concentrate on her personal life for now. But if it helps her reach some kind of closure, so be it and good luck to her.
Spears’ sixth album, Circus, was released on 2nd December to coincide with her 27th birthday.
